AI-assisted care records for community child centers — by Social AI
Social AI builds record-keeping software for community child centers (지역아동센터) in South Korea — after-school care centers that look after children from low-income and vulnerable households.
Teachers at these centers spend a large share of their time writing mandatory documents: weekly observation notes, semi-annual observation reports, counseling records, growth-check result reports, and program plans and evaluations. Our platform lets a teacher record briefly and often, and then drafts those documents for review instead of asking the teacher to write them from memory months later.
The document drafting is powered by Claude (Anthropic). Children's real names are never sent to any AI provider: identifying details are replaced with pseudonyms before any model call, and the mapping back to real names is held only by the center.
Gyeotbom (곁봄) is our Android application for teachers, used to capture observations and counseling notes on a phone while they are with the children, rather than at a desk afterwards. It shares the same records and the same pseudonymization rules as the web service.
The app is currently in testing and is not yet publicly released on Google Play.
